Dose works with Jobber, not instead of it
Jobber runs your business — scheduling, invoicing, customers. Dose adds the one thing it doesn’t do in the field: chemical logging on your techs’ phones. Jobber stays the source of truth; Dose feeds it better data.
The gap
Jobber’s chemical tracking lives on the desktop
Jobber has native chemical tracking, but only on jobber.com — there is no chemical tracking in the Jobber mobile app. So techs log on paper or in a disconnected notes app, and the office re-types it later, if it makes it back at all. Dose closes that loop: purpose-built for pool chemistry, connected to the Jobber account you already have.
What syncs
A two-way street, on your terms
From Jobber into Dose
- Scheduled visits and their assigned techs
- Properties — address and pool location
- Client names, so techs know whose pool they’re at
- Your team roster and roles
From Dose back to Jobber
- Chemical readings as job notes — one per visit, updated in place
- Custom field values on the job, if you turn them on
- Every write tagged with a [Dose] prefix so office staff can spot it
Writebacks are opt-in and configurable per customer from the admin dashboard. Dose only writes what you explicitly turn on, and repeated syncs update the existing note instead of piling up duplicates.
Data boundaries
What Dose never touches
Dose requests the narrowest Jobber permissions it can and stays out of your financials entirely. These stay in Jobber and never reach Dose’s servers:
- Invoices, line items, and payment status
- Payment methods and card data
- Client emails, SMS history, and communication logs
- Quotes, estimates, expenses, and time entries
If you disconnect or uninstall, your chemical history is exported to you as CSV and then deleted from Dose on a 30-day schedule. Reconnect the same Jobber account and you pick up where you left off.
Already on Jobber? You’re most of the way there
Dose connects to your existing Jobber account in one sign-in — your route, properties, and team come with it.
