Terms of Service

Effective date: July 1, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Dose for Jobber ("Dose", "the Service"), operated by Tiny Empire Consulting Inc. ("we", "us"). By creating an account or connecting a Jobber account to the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the company you represent.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. The service

Dose is a chemical-logging application for pool service companies that use Jobber. It lets technicians record water chemistry readings, scan test strips, calculate dosing, and sync results back to the company’s Jobber account. Dose complements Jobber and is not a replacement for it; Jobber remains your system of record for scheduling, invoicing, and customer management.

Dose is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Jobber. "Jobber" is a trademark of its respective owner.

3. Accounts and access

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the security of your login credentials, and for all activity under your company’s account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

You may add an unlimited number of technician and administrator users. You are responsible for the actions of the users you invite.

4. Subscriptions, metering, and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance in US dollars. Usage beyond a plan’s included visits is metered and billed at the published per-visit overage rate. A "visit" is a Jobber visit on which a qualifying action occurs (logging a reading, scanning a test strip, sending a service report, storing an LSI calculation, or including the visit in a compliance export); a given Jobber visit is billed at most once.

The free plan is subject to a hard monthly visit cap; the Service will decline qualifying actions beyond the cap until the next billing period or an upgrade. Billing periods follow the calendar month in your company’s local timezone.

Current pricing is published on the pricing page. We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

5. Your data

You retain all rights to the data you and your users submit to the Service, including chemistry readings, photos, and pool records ("Customer Data"). You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service: to store, process, back up, and display Customer Data to your users, and to write configured data back to your Jobber account.

We access your Jobber account only through the permissions you grant during connection, and we do not access or store your Jobber invoices, payment records, or client communication history.

Handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy at https://doseapp.ai/privacy.

6. Data export and deletion

You may disconnect your Jobber account or delete your Dose account at any time. On uninstall or a verified deletion request, we provide an export of your Customer Data and then permanently delete it on a scheduled basis (currently within approximately 30 days), except where retention is required by law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access another company’s data, reverse engineering the Service, probing or overloading our infrastructure, submitting unlawful content, or reselling the Service without our written consent.

8. Water chemistry disclaimer

Dosing suggestions and water-balance calculations (including LSI) are informational aids computed from the readings you provide. They are not a substitute for professional judgment, product label directions, or applicable health and safety regulations. You are solely responsible for the chemicals you apply and for compliance with local requirements.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Tiny Empire Consulting Inc. and protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your internal business purposes during your subscription.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI test-strip readings will be accurate; readings flagged as low-confidence require manual confirmation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Termination

You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including data export and deletion, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive venue for disputes is the courts located in Alberta, Canada, and each party consents to their jurisdiction.
