Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 1, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Dose for Jobber ("Dose", "we", "us"), operated by Tiny Empire Consulting Inc., collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Service. Dose is a chemical-logging application for pool service companies that use Jobber.
Dose is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Jobber.
If you are a pool service company using Dose, you are our customer. If you are that company’s own client (a pool owner), the company — not Dose — decides what information about you is entered into the Service; for that information we act as a service provider on the company’s behalf, and you should contact the company with any requests.
2. Information we collect
Account information: the name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash) of the administrators and technicians you invite, and your company name and timezone.
Jobber connection data: when you connect your Jobber account, we access and store a limited set of records needed to operate the Service — your visits, properties (street, city, ZIP, and location if present), client names, and the custom fields we create. To let you invite your own staff as Dose users, we also read your Jobber team members’ names, email addresses, and roles; this is your own company’s staff information, not your clients’ information. We do not access or store your Jobber invoices, line items, payment status, quotes, expenses, time entries, or client communication history.
Service data you create: water chemistry readings, dosing and water-balance (LSI) calculations, service reports, notes, and up to one photo per reading. Photos have location (GPS) metadata stripped on upload unless you turn on compliance mode.
A pool owner’s email address is only stored when your administrator explicitly confirms it as the recipient for that pool’s service reports. We may fetch it from Jobber to suggest a value, but we do not bulk-import or automatically sync client emails.
Billing information: your plan and metered visit counts. Card and payment details are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor — Dose never receives or stores full card numbers.
Technical data: basic logs needed to run and secure the Service (such as request identifiers and error reports). We are configured not to log sensitive personal information or secrets.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to provide and operate the Service, sync configured results back to your Jobber account, calculate dosing and water balance, send the service reports and account emails you configure, meter and bill usage, provide support, keep the Service secure, and comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your Customer Data or photos to train third-party AI models beyond what is needed to process a single test-strip scan you request.
4. AI test-strip scanning
When a technician scans a test strip, the image is sent to our AI vision providers — Google (Gemini) and Anthropic (Claude) — to read the chemistry values. The image is processed to return readings and is not used by us for any other purpose. Low-confidence readings are flagged for manual confirmation rather than guessed.
5. How we share information
We share information with third-party service providers ("sub-processors") that help us run the Service, each only to the extent needed for their function. These currently include: Jobber (integration you authorize), Stripe (payments), Google and Anthropic (test-strip reading), SendGrid (email delivery), Cloudflare R2 (photo storage), Neon (database hosting), Upstash (background job queue), Railway and Vercel (application hosting), and Sentry (error monitoring).
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Dose, our customers, or others. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
6. Your Jobber account
We access your Jobber account only through the permissions you grant when you connect it, and only for the features you enable. Where you enable writeback, Dose writes chemistry results to job notes and to a small set of app-owned custom fields it creates; it never modifies fields or notes it did not create. You can disconnect Dose from Jobber at any time.
7. Data retention and deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you uninstall Dose or request deletion, we provide an export of your Customer Data and then permanently delete it — including stored photos and your encrypted Jobber tokens — on a scheduled basis (currently within approximately 30 days), except where we are required to keep certain records by law.
An administrator can request deletion of your company’s data from the dashboard settings. A short confirmation window applies before permanent deletion begins.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Administrators can exercise many of these directly in the dashboard; for anything else, contact us at the address below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Because Dose is offered to US-based businesses, most requests from your own pool-owner clients should be directed to the service company that uses Dose. We will assist that company in fulfilling them.
Residents of some US states may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we hold and to request its deletion. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption of Jobber tokens at rest, encrypted connections in transit, hashed passwords, per-company data isolation, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Cookies and tracking
The Dose application uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and secure your session. Our marketing website also uses basic analytics to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it; we do not use cookies for third-party advertising or to sell your information.
11. Children’s privacy
Dose is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the dashboard before the change takes effect, and we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
